Face to Face

I was thinking this morning...
Do I realize that I will actually get to see THE living God face to face?
Do you realize this yourself? Go with me here a moment.
When I'm sitting down with the Lord of Lords and the King of Kings,
I want Him to look at me and talk to me like a longtime friend.
I want Him to look at me and talk to me like a longtime friend.
I desire this more than anything.
I don't want life to pass me by and God to look at me and say,
"You know I loved you all these years, but you never even knew I was right there with you."

I know he desires a relationship with each one of us so badly and if we could only realize that
he's not the God off in the distance,
but the God who chose our bodies to dwell in as
His temple.

"Don’t you know that you yourselves are God’s temple and that God’s Spirit dwells in your midst?"
1 Corinthians 3:16
I want God to call me a dear friend when we meet face to face
and not merely an acquaintance when things in life get tough.
I'm choosing to enjoy the wonders of knowing God now. What about you?
